Why do I need an Accountant?
An accountant will help you save time, money, and stress by providing accurate financial information ready for taxes and decision making, spot tax savings during the year, and stay on top of every changing tax law to help you mitigate taxes.
Will an accountant help me save
Yes, handling your financials and overall situation will help the accountant identify tax deductions, credits, and strategies to not only minimize your tax liability but also develop business growth.
What documents should I provide to my accountant?
You should provide 2 years worth of tax returns to begin process. During the continuous partnership you should provide receipts, invoices, accounting access to bank account, prior payroll records, customer list, vendor list, and any other relevant financial documents to help accurately update your financials and save on taxes.
What type of owners do you work with?
I work with solo owner companies that range from DBAs, Single Member LLCs, or S Corporations, or martial Partnerships that file jointly on their tax return.
Do you work with multiple member partnerships or shareholder businesses?
I am only accepting multiple member partnerships or shareholders that have martial relations (husband and wife) filing jointly on their tax returns.
Do you handle C -Corp Business?
I do not handle C- Corp businesses. I like to work with small business owners and simplify things as much as possible. When a business becomes a C -Corporation, it add complexities that does not benefit small business owners compare to other entity structures.
Can I get started if I use my personal checking account for my business?
You will need to have a business checking account before onboarding. We will be able to capture business transactions from your personal account to include all business transactions throughout the year.
Can I get the Core Plan if I have an S corporation?
If you do not have any employees outside of yourself, you are able to select the core package. If you have employees, you will need to get the Advance package.
If I convert to an S Corporation during my current subscription, would I have to switch subscription packages?
If you are currently on the core package and switch to an S Corporation, you will have to switch to at least the Advance package.
How do you do payroll?
I partner with an outsource payroll company to help manage day to day payroll processing.
How often will we meet together
The frequency of meetings will depend on the subscription package selected. Communications can still occur through other channels.
What are there start-up cost?
Any subscription plan started after June 30th will be subject to an onboarding fee 2x the subscription cost not including the first month. For example, if a customer begins on September 1st for the Advance package, they will be subject to paying $2,000 plus first month package of $1,000 totaling $3,000 to begin.
Are there any cancellations fees?
There are no cancellation fees and once you confirm your cancellation, we will finish the month or terminate our partnership immediately provided your choosing.
Can I really cancel at any time?
Yes, you can cancel at anytime. Our objective is to make the value you are receiving the core focus in our relationship with you.
If I cancel my subscription before my tax return is processed, will you still process my tax return?
No, all services and partnership will be stop immediately. Only the bookkeeping will be completed for the month unless requested to terminate services immediately.
How are payments arranged?
Payments for subscription packages will be automatically drafted from a credit card or bank account on file.
Why do I need all of these services bundled into packages?
Bundling all of the services allows the same entity to know your situation in depth to provide the most value to you. When you separate your bookkeeping from your tax preparation from your tax/business advising, you will have 3 separate entities that have 3 different methodologies and approaches to new information to them.
What if I have multiple businesses, do I need multiple subscription plans?
We will need to discuss the particulars in detail to determine if there would be a mutual benefit.
